What a pleasant, inspiring, and comforting surprise to have found this spectacular place! My father... spent his days at Regency in River Edge from March through June of 2016, until he and my mom moved to Pennsylvania to be closer to me. The care, the activities (both quality and variety), the attentiveness, the compassion, the kindness, the understanding, the real and true recognition of my dad as a person - it is impossible to imagine being any more pleased than we were (and continue to be, upon reflection). My dad enjoyed his days at Regency so much and, while his memory continues to fade, he still remembers "that place where they would get me dancing!" I can't say enough good things---my mom has no short term memory and when my dad died (who she... relied on heavily) we did not know what to do. She was not ready for assisted living. Regency was the perfect fit for her. She absolutely loves it. Gives her a place to go everyday and the activities are fantastic and the people that work there are so nice and caring--they understand the challenges of seniors with dementia and tailor their programs to fit the seniors needs. She eats lunch and dinner there and they do her hair. They pick her up and bring her home. Really has given her a great quality of life. Thanks for taking care of her!!read more
