FAQs

The Regency Club helps our members enjoy a more independent lifestyle at home. We provide a much better solution for a memory impaired senior than assisted living facilities, home health aides and nursing homes because we keep our members engaged, socially and physically active and mentally stimulated…their days are filled with fun and laughter.

We become your partner and help reduce your stress, guilt and anxiety. As dementia and Alzheimer’s care specialists, we offer a safe, secure environment where seniors can enjoy a fun, new alternative to home-care.

General

  • How do I know if my mom will enjoy attending the club?
The only way to find out is come and experience the club for yourself. We are open daily for tours and visits. Please call to schedule a visit of the club. You can fill out our appointment form here.

  • Dad is wandering at night; can stimulation at your club help improve his sleeping habits?
Yes. The Regency’s stimulating day of activities is can help improve members sleeping habits at night. Our members have no time for naps during the day, and therefore sleep much better at night.

  • How is The Regency more beneficial for my mom than getting an aide in the house?
The mind is like a muscle, and the more we exercise it the better it stays. An aide can keep mom company but can never offer the level of socialization, stimulation and exercise that our club setting can offer.

  • Who will help my wife when she gets back home?
Our staff can assist family members in setting up proper home care arrangements for our members.

  • If Mom wants to benefit from a full day of programming are there additional fees?
No. Mom can stay all day and enjoy 3 gourmet meals for one daily rate. There are no additional fees for taking advantage of the club’s long hours.

  • How do I know if I need this service?
Are you a caregiver and feeling stressed, overwhelmed or frustrated? Do you suffer from recurring headaches, or personal health problems? Have you lost most of your social life? If the answer to any of the above questions is “yes” then this club is for you.

  • Can you accommodate special diets?
Yes. We can accommodate vegetarian, kosher and many other restrictive diets.

  • Do you provide transportation?
Yes. Transportation is available upon request for local members.

  • Who’s caring for the caregiver?
It’s a valid question that needs an answer. The Regency Club offers an opportunity for caregivers to take a break, enjoy a day out and take care of your personal needs while we take care of your loved ones.

  • Does my mother have to stay all day?

Yes. Feel free to drop Dad off for a few hours! Please call to schedule a visit.
